Used Steel Buildings
Our buildings are dismantled by professional CITB trained personnel and brought back to our yard in Tuxford where the steelwork is available for inspection. All of the buildings are stored at our premises meaning that you can view all of the buildings in one location so that you can make the right decision for which building is perfect for your project.
There are several reasons why many companies are opting for used steel buildings. The first and usually most persuasive argument is the financial savings compared to a new building and there is also the carbon emissions to take into consideration for the production of a new building. Another advantage is that used buildings are ready for installation straight away cutting out the waiting time for a building to be produced.

Why buy second hand steel buildings?
Waste reduction and local re-use carry significant carbon benefits. Although new steel sections are made with 60% recycled content they still have 25 times the environmental impact of reused steel sections. Use of reclaimed steel is estimated by Building Research Establishment (BRE) as having 96% lower environmental impact compared to new.
1 tonne of reclaimed steel saves 1.8 tonnes of CO2 emissions.*
